Paver Patios

Paver patios in Lee's Summit, designed as a room — not a rectangle

We design and build custom paver patios as one coordinated process — from the first sketch to the last paver set. One team, one plan, a space that fits your yard and the way you live in it.

  • Designed around how you'll use the space
  • One team from design through build
  • Built on a proper, compacted base
  • Serving Lee's Summit & eastern Jackson County

It starts with the space

It starts with the space, not the stone

A great patio isn't a slab of pavers dropped in the yard. It's a room without walls — and like any room, it works when it's designed around how you'll use it.

Morning coffee or big summer cookouts. A quiet corner or open floor for a crowd. Sun or shade. Clean and modern, or warm and textured. We start there, then design the patio around it — layout, materials, levels, and how it ties into the house and the rest of the yard. You see the full plan before we ever break ground. And because the people who design your patio are the people who build it, what you approve on paper is what lands in your yard.

What we build

What we build

Full backyard patios

The main gathering space, designed around how you entertain and relax.

Multi-level patios

Stepped designs that turn a sloped lot into distinct spaces for dining and lounging.

Patios with seating walls

Built-in seating that shapes the space and adds structure.

Outdoor rooms

Patios designed as one piece with a fire feature, kitchen, or pergola.

Walkways and connections

Tying the patio into the whole landscape so it reads as one space.

Built on a proper base

Excavated to depth, graded for drainage, aggregate compacted in layers — so it stays flat for decades.

How we work

Design first, then everything follows

  1. 01

    Design consultation

We walk your space, talk through how you want to use it, and lay out what is possible. Free, no pressure, no same-day close.

  2. 02

    Plan and fixed scope

You get a clear design and a written price. Materials, layout and features spelled out, so you can take the time you need to decide.

  3. 03

    The build

The same team that designed your project builds it — excavating, setting a proper base, and installing, while protecting your property and cleaning up as we go.

Cost

What a paver patio costs in Lee's Summit

A well-built paver patio in the Kansas City area runs $30 to $60 per square foot installed. A 400 sq ft patio usually lands $15,000–$25,000; 800–1,000 sq ft with features runs $30,000–$60,000; and feature-rich builds with seating walls, fire, or a kitchen run $60,000–$100,000+. Quotes under $25 a square foot almost always mean the base or design work is being cut. See the full Lee's Summit patio cost guide →

FAQ

Common questions

How long does a paver patio last?

Built on a proper base, decades. The pavers outlast most other surfaces, and because they're modular, individual ones can be reset or replaced without redoing the patio.

Pavers or poured concrete?

Pavers cost more up front but resist cracking, offer far more design options, and repair easily. Concrete is cheaper initially but cracks with ground movement and is hard to fix cleanly.

How long does the build take?

Most patios run one to three weeks on site depending on size and features. You'll have a schedule before we start.

Do you handle the design?

Yes — every project starts with a free design consultation.
